Day 80 of Firsts: Party at a Latin Wedding

Love one another and you will be happy. It's as simple and as difficult as that. ~Michael Leunig

What a fabulous wedding I was at today. I admit I cried. (Couldn't say why. I don't usually cry at weddings.) Maybe because this couple has gone through a lot to be together and they are such a sweet couple.

The bride, Michelle Mejia-Lopez (now Houser) comes from a wonderful family from El Salvador.  My nephew (through marriage), Blake Houser, couldn't be luckier.

I've been to Jewish weddings, Greek weddings, all sort of Christian weddings, but this was the first Latin wedding I've been too.  We all had a great time dancing.

Despite different cultures and language, the two families blended beautifully. Hey, the language of love is universal.

If this isn't the most romantic wedding dance, then i don't know what is. (It made me cry again.)

Congratulations Blake and Michelle.
