Life is uncertain. Eat dessert first. Ernestine UlmerLet me start off by saying:THIS WAS A HORRIBLE IDEA. I started off early this morning making a guest visit to a College Communications Class at Perkiomen High School. Professor Gail Ramsey brought goodies to get me going.
So there were cookies, and cupcakes and life was good! And then when I got to work a couple of the interns (Samantha and Jan) were so excited about this First they came to my desk bearing gifts.
By 3:00 I had had my "just desserts". AHH My head hurt, i felt a little nauseous and I'm thinking if I see another sweet today I'll lose it.
Yes, boys and girls, there really can be too much of a good thing. But here's the kicker. I got home and found this beautiful box of Hope's Cookies outside my door. Who's it from? My agent and friends Steve Dickstein and wife Marsha. The message was Happy New Year.
First, I think of course I can't. But I LOVE Hope's cookies. Okay, I ate one. Yes, after feeling sick and eating sugar all day I still could eat a big ole cookie.
So the truth is, if it's good dessert, there is always room for more.

Oh my goodness desserts all day! I think that's one of those things that probably sounds wonderful in theory, but put into practice might not be so great! Not saying I wouldn't do it (or haven't done it!!) though.
Yeah, I think it's a first and a last. Thanks for your comment. Any First suggestions for me?
