Laying in bed this morning contemplating how amazing it would be if somehow Oscar Wilde and Mae West could twitter from the grave. ~Dita Von Teese (@DitaVonTeese), May 7, 2009 on TwitterI've technically been "tweeting" for a year, but the truth is I have no idea what I'm doing.
Enter intern Ashley Peskoe, a twitter pro. She happened to tell me she's giving a twitter class at her school. I said sign me up. She gave me and a couple others today a little lesson.
What did I learn today? 1) People won't want to "follow" you if you only tweet about what you're doing 2) You must actively interact and chat with those you're following 3) I still am not sure what I'm doing 4) Somehow I was following five people and ended up following over a hundred. 5) twitter kind of blew up today and had a melt down. 6) I need more twitter lessons
If you tweet, please follow me @luann_cahn and help me figure this out.
